Overview

CAB Enterprises, Inc ('CAB Enterprises,' or the 'Company') is the exclusive sales and customer service Company representing Electrolit in North America and Europe. The primary objective of CAB Enterprises is to lead the growth of Electrolit sales in the United States.

Location: Houston, TX (on-site)


Position Summary

The IT Desktop Support person will handle business critical IT tasks and systems improvement by providing operational infrastructure support, maintenance and troubleshooting to ensures optimum utilization of IT resources. Part of the activities will include managing security access, monitoring systems and routines to ensure all systems are performing as expected. This role will be assisting employees and guiding them for troubleshooting or requests, as well as provide training as needed.


Principal Duties

  • Install, configure, and support workstation software, hardware, printers, and phones
  • Analyze staff needs, identify vulnerabilities, and boost efficiency and accuracy
  • Execute systems and network design, documentation, implementation, testing, and administration, and ensure components meet business needs and work together seamlessly
  • Resolve IT support requests from employees, while providing status updates on service requests
  • Answer employee questions regarding computer systems
  • Train employees in using software and hardware
  • Generate sign ins for new hires during the onboarding process
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Must have strong interpersonal and organizational skills

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and diagnose issues
  • Time management skills to provide updates and fixes within a promised time frame

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of company information
  • Ability to multitask to assist multiple employees at once
  • Customer service skills to interact professionally and positively with employees and coworkers


Qualifications

  • Two years' experience in IT
  • Deep knowledge of operating systems, current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, and system performance monitoring tools
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in computer science
  • Professional certification is a plus but not required
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Work, PPT, Teams)
  • Working knowledge of SAP or equivalent ERP system strongly preferred


Other Requirements

  • Must be willing to travel up to 10% of the time
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the USA
  • Must be fluent in English and Spanish
