Position Summary

The Manager of Sales Analytics will play a vital role in enhancing our sales team's effectiveness and overall organizational success. This role involves overseeing sales forecasts, setting and evaluating sales goals, and analyzing market trends and economic conditions to drive strategic decisions. With a focus on leveraging data insights, the Manager of Sales Analytics will formulate sales strategies, optimize sales processes, and enhance our overall sales effectiveness. Collaborating closely with the sales team, the Sales Analytics Manager will foster a culture of achievement and facilitate the closure of key sales opportunities.


Principal Duties

  • Lead the compilation, analysis, and reporting of sales data
  • Utilize data from internal and external sources to generate accurate reports
  • Monitor competitive activities, customer behaviors, and market trends
  • Provide actionable insights to guide sales and marketing strategies
  • Contribute to the development and execution of comprehensive sales plans
  • Evaluate external data sources to identify best practices for achieving company goals
  • Analyze data to proactively identify and address challenges
  • Foster collaboration across teams and departments
  • Monitor and evaluate sales team performance
  • Forecast demand, revenue, and expenses accurately
  • Assess sales potential and make strategic recommendations
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Data Science or related field
  • Demonstrated strength in data analysis & working with BI Analytics/Reporting Tools
  • Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills, with experience presenting directly to clients and prospects with varying levels of experience from analyst to executive leadership
  • Proven experience in sales forecasting and reporting
  • At least two (2) + years proven work experience as a Sales Analyst or similar role
  • At least five (5) years CPG beverage experience
  • Must have strong retailer knowledge
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, IRI, Numerator, Crisp


Other Requirements

  • Travel up to 25%
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
