Overview
CAB Enterprises, Inc ('CAB Enterprises, or the 'Company') is the exclusive sales and customer service Company representing Electrolit in the Unites States. The primary objective of CAB Enterprises is to lead the growth of Electrolit sales in the Unites States.
Position Summary
The Sales Support Assistant plays a crucial role in providing administrative and clerical support to the sales team. This position is fundamental for ensuring that the sales team has the resources needed to effectively serve customers, close sales, and drive profitability for the company. Key responsibilities include managing customer communications through both email and telephone, organizing sales contracts, and preparing essential reports and presentation materials. Additionally, the assistant is tasked with maintaining files, databases, and relevant records, while also supporting the sales team in coordinating travel arrangements, meetings, and catering services. The Sales Support Assistant must be adaptable to new sales cycles and targets, ensuring that the productivity of the sales team is consistently upheld at a high level.
Location: Houston, TX (hybrid)
Principal Duties
- Generates reports on sales targets, forecasts, activity, and other related metrics
- Maintains customer and sales databases to ensure accurate records and facilitate efficient communication
- Maintains territory by regions and managers up to date, as well as sales organizational charts
- Manages sales software applications on behalf of the team, entering and retrieving data for reporting purposes
- Partners with Human Resources and Hiring Managers to facilitate the onboarding process for new sales hires, ensuring they receive all necessary tools and resources for success
- Facilitates the onboarding process for new customers by ensuring accurate completion of all necessary paperwork by both customers and sales representatives, and coordinating the timely submission of documents required for SAP setup
- Compiles and integrates data from Key Account Managers into comprehensive monthly sales reports, along with budget and sales forecasts as required
- Assists the sales team with their correspondence requirements by guiding them in reaching out to the appropriate contacts when necessary
- Prepares thank you notes and gifts to clients
- Communicates important feedback from customers internally
- Gathers promotional activities and maintain the promotional calendar monthly; disseminate updates to the team as they are received
- Collaborates with Logistics and Finance departments to address inquiries from the sales team and customers effectively
- Trains and supports the sales team on systems, processes, and procedures
- Maintains Sales Department workflow by analyzing and refining standard operating procedures
- Inputs received sales data into the data management database utilized by the sales team for territory mapping
- Prepares presentation materials and exhibits
- Prepares and distributes reports or other communications on a regular schedule
- Maintains files, databases, and archives or relevant records
- Manages the shipment of samples to customers, clients, and the sales team as needed
- Assists the sales team with coordinating travel arrangements, meetings, catering services, etc.
- Collaborate with the Administrative Services Assistant to effectively coordinate and communicate fleet requirements to the sales team
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
- A.S or equivalent education in related fields
- A minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience working in a similar capacity, preferably a CPG organization
- Hands on experience with CRM software and MS Office
- Understanding of sales performance metrics
- A team player with high level of dedication
- Can think proactively, identify problems and solutions, and exhibit a high-level of self-initiative
- Must be fluent in English, Spanish or bi-lingual is a plus
Other Requirements
- Must be willing to travel up to 10% of the time.
- Must be willing to work occasional evening and weekends for special events
- Must be legally authorized to work in the USA
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
